The displayed dashboard is a data visualization tool, built by staff and student personnel at the Center for Analytics for the New Haven Police Department. The dashboard integrates data collected internally on calls for emergency service, with available open-source data such as the Gun Violence Archive Project (GVA) and National Incident- Based Reporting System data (NIBRS). The dashboard currently encapsulates 5 years’ worth of integrated data, 2020-2025.

The dashboard is interactive and allows filtering by both time and type of event. Additionally, there are interactive comparison charts and density analysis map views/filters that can be applied.
